PS3 Slim HDMI issue!

Does anyone know why my Ps3 Slim doesnt work in HDMI when it used to.. I had it last November, used it twice (Over HDMI) and now it doesnt display in HDMI but will on the supplied AV cables. I've tried resetting it to default settings, I've updated to latest version, I've tried switching to HDMI through AV but nothing works. It just says on my screen "Searching for Signals" then the a black screen with the resolution 720x576 @50hz...

Any help apprecitated.

And also If its just the PS3 broken ill get it replaced.

u sure u have the correct HDMI Cord because my Ps3 came with only one cord and that was HDMI so thats probably why ? but its probably ur AV cables that dont work?

That could be Possible. Im going to check & See if Im using the wrong component also.

u could try holding down the in off button (wen the console is off) for 5 seconds you should hear around about 3beep this resets ur display settings then try setting up ur HDMI.... HOPE THIS WORKS FOR YOU
